Södra Skog works with purchasing renewable forest raw materials from our 52,000 members and delivering them to Södras various industries. We work closely with our members in their forestry, sharing their challenges and helping them create both increased climate benefits and higher profitability. Our work also includes the development of digital support and new forestry services.

At Södra, you will have the opportunity to be part of a team with engaged colleagues and modern machines. We are now looking for a forwarder driver for our operational area in Långasjö.

The main task is to drive the forwarder, but the work also includes:

- Maintenance and care of machines

- Contact with landowners

- Detailed planning of harvesting areas

- Manual work

- Reporting and follow-up

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Långasjö. Work occurs throughout the operational area, and shift work is included.

We are looking for a responsible person who sees the value of collaboration despite a lot of independent work, and who is used to taking their own initiative in situations that require it. You are results-oriented, resourceful, meticulous, and flexible, with a genuine interest in forestry. Furthermore, we see that you enjoy the freedom to work independently and take responsibility for structuring your work. You are also social, trustworthy, and enjoy creating and maintaining good relationships.

To be considered for the position, you have:

- A forestry high school education or equivalent professional experience

- Good IT skills as forestry becomes increasingly digital

- A valid driver's license (B)

- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

If you have experience operating forest machines and/or practical experience in forestry, it is considered an advantage.
